Leadership positions within ASF are granted at the sole discretion of the Founder and Director, Ruth Jenkins. ASF reserves the right to revoke a leadership appointment at any time, with or without cause, if it is determined that the individual’s actions are not in the best interest of ASF, its mission, or its animals.
If a leadership team member is removed from their role, all access to ASF databases, email accounts, foster chats, and any other ASF-related communication or record-keeping systems will be immediately revoked.
Former leadership team members agree to return or destroy any ASF-related documents, records, or proprietary information in their possession and must refrain from accessing, using, or distributing ASF materials in any capacity.
To maintain the integrity and focus of ASF’s leadership team:
Leadership team members are entrusted with sensitive and proprietary information about ASF’s operations, including but not limited to:
Leadership team members are strictly prohibited from taking screenshots, screen recordings, or photographs of any ASF-related communications, including but not limited to emails, chat conversations, private messages, and internal discussions.
ASF leadership team members serve as representatives of the organization and are expected to uphold its mission and values at all times.
As such, members agree to:
Leadership team members agree not to engage in negative discussions, gossip, or public criticism of ASF, its leadership, policies, or operations.
Any concerns or grievances must be addressed privately and directly with the Director. Failure to adhere to this clause may result in removal from the leadership team and potential legal action for reputational damage.
Disputes or disagreements within the leadership team should be handled professionally, respectfully, and internally. Leadership members agree to resolve conflicts through constructive communication and ASF’s established channels rather than engaging in divisive behavior.
ASF provides resources, supplies, and financial support for the care of its animals and the execution of its mission. Leadership team members agree not to use ASF funds, materials, or donor lists for personal benefit or for the benefit of another organization without explicit written approval from the Director.
ASF’s reputation is of the utmost importance. Leadership team members agree to:
By signing this Agreement, the undersigned fully releases and discharges ASF, its officers, agents, volunteers, and employees from any and all claims related to injuries, damages, or losses incurred as a result of their leadership role within ASF.
Furthermore, the undersigned agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend ASF, its officers, agents, volunteers, and employees from any legal claims or liabilities arising from their actions as a leadership team member.
